Its the first day of Christmas! The weather is bad, its raining like crazy outside and the winds are getting stronger. By midnight a hurricane will hit the coast where I live. I hope it will be as strong as they say it will be! The last one were weak, they said "Oh no, this is going to be the strongest in many years!" But was it? Nope... So crossing fingers for this one!
As you may have figured out by now, I love extreme weather! There is few things more exiting than lightning-storms, hurricanes and blizzards. At least where i live. We don't get tornadoes and stuff like that, kinda boring. Though I feel really sorry for those over in the United States who get struck by them and losing their homes. I am very sorry for your loss of homes and lives. Though it is amazing to witness natures brute force doing its worst and most evil wrecking of the land. It is the one thing in the world we can not and never will be able to control.
Amazing isn't it?
Anyway. Had a great Christmas eve with my family yesterday! Lots of good food and good company. Got lots of neat stuff from my friends and family too! Thank you all for your kindness :)
I hope you out there had and will still have a great and happy Christmas!

Brewing my own beer for Christmas!
Hello!
How's everyone? I'm back from yet another hunting-trip, didn't get anything this time either. But that's okay, it was loads of fun.
So I've started brewing my own beer! Its fun, very exiting. Its a little bit of work, but man, if you get it right that beer will taste good! I've got about 23 liters (around 5 gallons?) brewing in my bathroom now. If everything goes after my plan, if will be ready on Christmas day. I cant wait! Its a slow process and I'm a very impatient guy, some chemistry-project :)
Thirsty?
I should probably upload a Christmas tune before I go to bed!

December 14th
Hello great people of earth!
I usually do not come in peace.
So lately I'm doing everything I can to avoid getting sick. I can feel that ugly shit crawling in my throat, getting a little better and a little worse day by day. I cant afford to get sick now!!! Can you?
I'm on the internet surfing for fun stuff now and again, thought I should gradually start posting some fun shit on this blog, make it a little more tasty than plain and simple. We get plenty plain and simple when we are put in a retirement home against our will.
So to all you loners out there I have an idea for you:
You can either do that, which in most cases is a little extreme, over the edge, taking it a bit too far. OR you can get off your ass and find someone. Make both you crazy kids a little bit more happy before Christmas:)
Aaaanyway, I should probably post a new Christmas song here. This one is a little unorthodox, not your typical Christmas song.
Blink-182 - I Won't Be Home For Christmas (Spotify)
Blink-182 - I Won't Be Home For Christmas (YouTube)
Yep, they made a Christmas song. Its not half bad actually. Listen to it and rock around that Christmas bush.

Hello!
I'm back from my "hunting" trip. Was more eating meat and drinking beer than actual hunting. But it was very fun anyway, a good way to spend the weekend! Going back up next weekend :)
Gonna make this short, I'm on my way to bed, so. Here is the Christmas song I've chosen today.
Main Title From Home Alone ("Somewhere In My Memory") (Spotify)

December 8th
Bad news! I'm not going to be able to write anything more after this post until Sunday night. So I thought I'd make this post a big one. Not just one, but a few songs. Where I am going you wonder? I'm going hunting!
My dad, his girlfriend, my brother and I are going hunting this weekend. 2 days of walking in the snowy mountains, nights with board games, movies and beer. I cant wait! Gonna be super fun, but as you can see from the picture above, no internet. But I don't think internet has anything to do at a place like that. One is not there to sit like a zombie in front of a computer, but to have fun and socialize. Something fewer and fewer people are doing these days. Internet can be a blessing. But I think it can be more of a curse. It makes our lives much easier, but it also enslaves us. You can argue all you want, I think I'm right about that.
First song! Start of with a good Christmas song. This woman has an amazing voice.
Darlene Love - All Alone On Christmas (Spotify)
Darlene Love - All Alone On Christmas (YouTube)
Darlene Love, she was cute when she was young. Now she looks kinda strange. But her voice is amazing, truly. Gotta tell you something. This Christmas I'm gonna make some home-made beer. That's right, shit just got real, he-he-he! Home-made beer is very good, if its done right. To be honest I haven't had much practice doing it, but you try and you fail until you get it right.
Next song! Some really good heavy rock. The riffs these guys are slamming out of their speakers is like a fire hose shooting liters of ice cold beer right at you. A very strange metaphor indeed. Here is the song:
Mike Slamer, Shopan Entesari - Bushwacked (Spotify)
I'm sorry, didn't find a YouTube video for those without Spotify. But! Try and see if you can find it on iTunes or something else. This song is really one you don't want to miss.
I don't think I'm gonna write anymore on this post. Its getting very long, and no one wants to read a wall of text, I think. So! Everyone have a great weekend! I know I will :)

December 7th.
I actually don't have all that much to write about today. But I have been setting up some Christmas decorations, going over my economy and putting recites in my archives, going through bills and finding out that I am screwed either way, he-he!
I had a great work-out today too, spinning. Not that much fun, its more fun to lift heavy iron weights and put them back exactly where you found them. Well, today I think I will give you a song by Stevie Wonder called The Little Drummer Boy. Classic Christmas tune. Have a good night!

December 6th.
Hello readers!
I didn't keep my promise as I said I would, lots of things happening in my life, been busy. There should always be time for everything, but I've put it aside.
Well, the snow finally came! Loving it, its white and cold outside, the smell in the air is fresh and clean. I always feel good when its winter, its the best time of the year for me. I have actually put up some Christmas-decorations too!
So what song should I upload this evening? I would really like if those who actually read this blog would tell me what your favorite Christmas song is, or memory for that matter. Many songs are linked to a certain memory in our lives, that's why we like them! I'll upload O Come All Ye Faithful by Olivia Newton John. Yeah, that's right, she has a nice voice!

December 2nd,
Well... I'm back from the Christmas party with my job, it was very interesting. After most of the people had gone, the physical therapist fixed me! I had a crocked back. I wont share his secrets as he requested. But it was very simple.. He took me down to the gym, let me lift some weights and I felt it. It was seriously muscle magic. I have felt for a long time that my left biceps is much stronger than my right. The pump has been seriously stronger. Now its different, if you want to know how, I can request information, but I don't think it will be cheap. Anyway, I had loads of fun and educational stuff at the party with Aktiv Trening and Lindas Velvære. That means a studio where you can work out, a place where you can get a massage and a physical therapist in the same building.
Well, the second song of my Christmas calender, Wham - Last Christmas

Last Day In November
Well, its officially the last day in November and tomorrow is December 1st. I was thinking, how about if I post one Christmas song each day until Christmas? Like a Christmas surprise calender or something, he-he! I think I'll do it, just have to make sure that I remember to write every day for the next 24 days. Do you have your Christmas decorations up yet?
Well it sure has been a lot of November rain this year, I can count about 28 rainy days of a total of 30 days. So I guess you now know what song I will post today, enjoy :-)

Stallone
Finally Saturday, a time to relax and clear your mind of everything. This week has been crazy, I have slept minimal and haven't had the time to sit down at all the time I have been awake. But that's okay, I've had fun and I feel like I have served my purpose in life to the fullest this week!.
By the way, I have a funny old picture I want to show you of Sylvester Stallone! Here it is:
He-he-he!! Don't get me wrong, this man is one of my absolute heroes! He has shown that it is possible to stay young in an old age, training is a lifestyle, it keeps us strong and healthy. But this picture is to much, with the pink Hawaiian shirt and the faaaaar to tight jeans, he-he!
So this week has been crazy, been working none stop and training every day, this afternoon my body finally said it was enough and that I needed to relax, tomorrow I'm gonna sleep in. So, you probably want a song too? Well here it is!

Christmas soon!
Well, Christmas is coming up, only one month left! That means holiday for some, good food, family getting together, presents? And maybe for some of us it means work. Its a good time to make some extra money for those of us who needs it. Like me, I am done with this semester at school and currently I'm working two jobs and reading on the side. Also try to work out once every day :) The new year is coming up and all unpaid bills should be taken care of before then. In my case that is quite a lot, he-he! But I'll manage, I always do. How is your next month looking? Got everything under control? I hope so :)
Well, its been a long time since I last posted some music, hell, posted something at all. I am sorry about that, I've been crazy busy. I think I will post a good work-out song. Don't get me wrong, My area in music is rock and all that other heavy music, but! For some reason this dub-step stuff is great music to work out to. So I listen to it when I need it :) Here you go!

Supernatural
I thought that I would write about my favorite series, one pr post. Starting with Supernatural! Have any of you watched it? Really good show, I keep track and watch all new every week.
Supernatural is about two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester. They have a life that few others would understand, dealing with "things" that few would understand to keep normal people safe and live their normal white picket fence lives. They are hunters, hunting supernatural beings, monsters. After their mother was killed by one of these supernatural beings, their father made it his life work to hunt them down and find the monster that killed their mother. In the process he needed to take with him the young boys, also training them to keep on doing what he started.
The show is filled with horror, drama and comedy. Both are very good actors and the special effects regarding the monsters is satisfying. I didn't want to say anything more about the show in case some of those who actually read this blog haven't seen it and want to try it out :) Its one of my favorites and highly recommended.
So, anyone that actually believes in supernatural beings? Vampires, werewolves, witches or ... fairies? He-he!
Until next time!

Aliens
So, I haven't been to school yet because I cant walk that far yet, my foot hurts a whole lot. Strangely it hurts more now that the swelling has started to go away. But who cares about my bruised swollen foot, right?
So to the good part of today's post. I saw this show a few days ago on national geographic about UFO's and extraterrestrials or whatever. It could be interesting to watch if it wasn't for all the crazy out of their minds people that's looking for these little green men and flying china. There was this one guy that said, and I quote: "The shocking truth is that, aliens do exist, and they are here with us and they have been here with us for thousands of years. We were made by aliens, that's why we as humans exist". At that point I turned off the TV and went to bed, it was just too much crazy for me to handle, he-he!
Random picture found on internet, clearly fake.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe in life on other planets, maybe not in our solar system, but in others. I don't think there is an end to the universe, you don't just suddenly hit a wall and cant get further. Some place out there, we will find life, maybe not as intelligent as us or maybe more intelligent. It could be interesting to find out, but we as humans are hundreds of years away from finding out a way to travel outside our own solar system. As for area 51, does any of you believe that they really have ships and bodies from other planets? Its a far fetched theory if you ask me.
Today's song will be Steve Vai - Little Green Men, links to Spotify and YouTube below. And I'm sorry that I cant link anything to iTunes and other music programs, I don't have anything else. But I guess you'll find it yourself if you search for the songs I post :)

Optimus Prime
Hey!
How's it going out there? I haven't been writing in a while because, well, I've been extremely lazy. I stepped in a hole in the road 5 days ago and completely fucked up my foot. Its now blue and twice as big as before! But the doctors said it was okay, no fractures. I'm laying on my couch now watching Transformers on the TV, very entertaining movie if you are one of those who like science fiction/action/comedy. I do, but its far from any of the best movies I've ever seen though. Entertaining, that's it.
A picture of Megatron from the movie Transformers.
So I got the job at the gym where I work out and applied for a new job opening a few months ago. That made my day! Its a cool job, I get discount at local stores on clothes for sports of all kinds and I train for free. Good stuff! :) Back to school tomorrow if I am able to walk that far, which I should be. I could post a picture of my foot, but that would just gross people out, and what good would that serve? He-he!
I better post a song for you too, with matching picture! And today I choose Dimmu Borgir - Born Treacherous, from the album Abrahadabra (2010). True Norwegian black metal!

End of weekend
Well, the weekend ended with a serious bang. A bit too much alcohol and a bit too late. But it was fun, you remember my dilemma? Yeah, I ended up going to that concert with a few friends. But I didn't actually see the concert, just payed myself in and walked around drinking beer and talking to people I haven't seen in a long time:) It was fun! Until the end when I think I got too drunk and don't remember anything else.. Anyway, my problem is that I get hung over several days after, but that's the price one have to pay for childish fun, he-he! Anyone else had a fun weekend?
And now for the song of the day:

Active Lifestyle
I have always believed that I am in relatively good shape and I have an active lifestyle. I work out about 5-6 times a week and love to sweat and push my body. But today I did something that really opened my eyes! I booked a spot on what is called active pump at the gym I go to with an instructor. 60 minutes with a bar and enough weights. It was intense and non stop. Over 60 minutes we trained all parts of the body with only 30 seconds break in between every 5 minutes or so. I gotta tell you, it was hard! Now I know that I am faaar from the shape I would like to be in, this was madness!
Anyway, picking up the phase from now on. What do you out there do to stay in shape? I thought that a good song to follow this post would be a song from the Rocky soundtrack and a little training montage from YouTube, he-he! Enjoy;)
James Brown - Living In America (Spotify)
Rocky IV Training Montage
Not the best quality on this video, but fun to watch anyway.

Just sitting here chilling and listening to music, and I wanted to share this song with you!
Golden Earring - Twilight Zone (Spotify)
Golden Earring - Twilight Zone (YouTube)
The Spotify version is live and about 2 minutes longer than the YouTube version. I must say that the live version is the best one. The video is just a normal music-video, but very good quality! Enjoy:)

Dilemma!
Weekend is coming soon!
I've got a dilemma on what I should do this weekend, I have two choices: The first is to go to a concert where a local country band is playing with some friends of mine and one friend I haven't seen in forever. The second is a Halloween-party in another city not far from here with some other friends. Hard choice indeed, one con for each, Halloween-party is away from home and traveling with a hangover is not cool. The concert is a band that I really don't like at all, they suck, he-he! But it's fun because its with friends, alcohol and its a short way back home. I hope that everyone is having a good morning or night in other places of the world:) And yes, I most certainly do have a song for you this time too :) I'll get right to the point, Enjoy!

The audio on the YouTube video isn't all that great, but it's cool anyway. The video is live from 1978.

But it's fun because its with friends, alcohol and its a short way back home. I hope that everyone is having a good morning or night in other places of the world:) And yes, I most certainly do have a song for you this time too :) I'll get right to the point, Enjoy!

Ditching School
So today I am ditching school, I know its wrong and I know I need to be there, but the weather is so damn nice today, so I'm studying at home in the sun :) Besides there is so much other stuff I can do at home in this weather, like sit outside and play guitar in the fresh air. Inspiring stuff! I came up with a new riff this morning while eating breakfast, small stuff but I think I can work with it and try to make something more. Anyway, you all probably want this mornings song! So how about shot in the dark by Ozzy? I'll post both YouTube link and Spotify link, but the video is just a picture with the song in the background, very good quality though! Here it is:

Strangely warm
Today I've been working on my studies and playing some guitar. Me and a friend also walked up to the top of the mountain here in our area, 776 meters over sea level. The weather has been strangely nice and warm these last two days, nicer than it was in the summer. My body gets confused when it goes from almost winter to a hot summer day in only one night, but that's how it is here on the west coast of Norway! Now its bedtime for me, hope everyone had a nice day today. Hmm what song should I post for you today? I know! Steve Lukather - Flash in the Pan. This is a YouTube video, maybe more fun for you out there to watch a music video then just listen to an mp3. So, here it is

Totall overdose of energy
This day has been so weird.. I've been working out two times today and washed my apartment. Hardly been sitting down at all and still my feet is shaking and needs to do more. Cant understand this, been sleeping okay last night and eating just right today, that's all. Ah well, I got a few things done today too then, that's good. I've been on a job-interview today too, at the gym where I work out. I am very positive and think I will get the job, she said she needed to sit down with a few more but would get back to me after that, this job would be perfect along side of my studies. Anyway! Next song today, this will be the last post today. Good night:)

Paranormal Activities
So I was at the movies on Saturday to see Paranormal Activities 3. I must say, the movie was extremely freaky and it got my heart racing a few times. But to be honest, it wasn't as good as I imagined it would be. The first Paranormal Activities movie was much better because it gave you a sense of reality with close to no special effects at all and few actors which seemed like your normal neighbors. Anyway, movie number 3 didn't give you all that so it wasn't as freakishly scary as the first. One of the reasons was to many special effects so you could really see that this was a movie and not anything that "really happened". They had many actors, there was a consistent storyline, you could really see that they had a much bigger budget on this movie than the first. That's my reason for thinking the first is better then the third. I haven't seen movie number 2 yet, but I will. What do you guys think?
I promised a few songs this weekend that didn't get posted, so I will start by posting the first one now. This is a link to YouTube and the song is Frank Zappa - Dinah-Moe Humm. This guy was so freaking awesome! Enjoy!

Sunday
I'm sorry I didn't get to post a new song on my blog last night, I was hung over and really tired so I instantly fell asleep on my couch and woke up a few minutes ago. Today I will post two songs to make up for yesterday, but first I need to do my early morning stuff! Be back later.

Good evening world.
I'm going out, gonna drink a little, so I will post today's song now since I probably wont be online later this evening. Making it short, Pagan's Mind - ...Of Epic Questions, enjoy.

Logic Express 8
Does anyone have any previous experience with Logic Express 8?
It's not an easy program to learn and use and I was wondering:
Is there anyone out there that have any experience with mixing in this program? Could someone give me some pointers in how to make it sound more finished than a rough take?

Early bird in the worm:D
Morning!
Today I'm off school and work and everything. Got nothing important to do. So, today I thought I would be working more on that song I'm writing on Logic express. AH! I haven't told you about my equipment yet! I will do that now.
So, I'm not rich, I'm actually quite poor, he-he! But I have a few instruments and a few other gadgets so I can record.
Instruments first:
One old acoustic guitar which was my first guitar.
One Morgan electric guitar in sunburst which was my first electric guitar.
One Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty, which is my favorite of the guitars, used all my savings on that one:)
One Fender Stratocaster 60's reissue, love that guitar, its straight up sexy.
One Morgan WD 5 which is the latest, I bought it 1 month ago. Really good guitar, very nice sound and its a great to play on. That's my opinion, everyone to their own taste I guess:)
And I have one shitty Yamaha keyboard which I use rarely. Want to save up for a real piano, now that's a dream!
Okay, that's the instruments. I have a lot to buy that's on my list. To name a few, a bass, a midi-keyboard, a banjo which is the instruments I see myself acquiring in the near future. Total need. OK! Off to the software. Its not much but it works.
I have an iMac with software that I bought at the same time I bought the iMac so it came installed and ready to go once I switched on the computer. Software:
Logic express 8. This is really amazing, but its difficult and hard to use. It takes a great amount of time to learn to use Logic, I haven't learned half of it even.
Garage Band. This is an easy program, plug and play kinda thing. You get right to the point here. Its fun but not what you primarily use to record.
POD Farm. Now this is a fun software! This program followed with my Line 6 UX1 sound-card for my instruments. I can use a whole day in the POD Farm. There are several different guitar speakers, guitar effects, bass speakers, bass effects. You have a panel which is easy to use, you get all the "buttons" from the real speaker or effect pedal over the frame that shows what you are using of equipment. Here you can turn on nobs, switch buttons from clean to gain, treble, bass, and so on. Extremely fun program to use. You need a good headset though to hear the sound right.
I think that was everything. There are sure to be more to come, and I will update as soon as more has arrived. Have a nice day!

Gaming?
Today after school I went to visit a friend of mine, we've been just sitting around playing this new game that was released a few days ago. Might & Magic Heroes VI. It was quite fun, been wasting a few hours on that game tonight. Fun to see how the graphics and stuff has evolved since the first three heroes games that we used to play as kids. Lots has changed and there was TONS we didn't understand, he-he! All in all its been a good day.
Been studying chemistry at school today, I don't know all the words that's educational correct to use in English, so I wont even try to, he-he! Anyway, we've been calculating reactions between acids and bases today. Not hard at all to do if one knows the basics. As long as it is doable it is fun.
My father asked me if me and my bro wanted to celebrate Christmas with him this year, its been so many years since the last time that I can't even remember it. We've usually been with my mothers side of the family, so I think it would be great to change the tradition for once. All depends on my little bro what he wants to do though..
So, not much more to write today. Today's song is Airbourne - Bottom of the Well. I will link it at the bottom of this page. And remember to get spotify if you don't have it. If its not available in your country you can always find the song on YouTube or iTunes if you are interested. Thanks for today and have a good night everyone! Peace out. Snow
I woke up pretty early today, it was dark and the weather was crazy. Hail and strong winds. About an hour ago it was actually snowing for a few minutes! Winter is knocking on the front door I guess. I can't wait for winter to get here and I hope it will be a lot of snow this year too! Gonna freestyle snowboard up in the mountains this year. Gonna be a whole lot of fun and hopefully no broken bones:D I hope everyone will have a nice day, evening, night. I gotta get ready for school. See you all tonight!
American Pie
Hey!
This has been an OK day I guess! I've been too school learning some math, fun stuff. I have also been at the gym, running my ass off. The weather has been crazy today, high winds and lots of ice cold rain, there is also new snow far down the mountains. I guess winter is coming soon! Can't wait:D
I've been using my evening to relax, taking it easy. I've been watching American Pie, telling you, those movies (the three first ones that is) NEVER get old. They are both stupid and funny at the same time, also they was the peak of good teenage comedy when I was growing up as a young dude of 12. Anyway, fun to watch again:)
Well, I can't leave and go to bed without today's song now can I? So which one will I choose today? Ah, I know, I really dig Jack's Mannequin. Talented guy. So the song today will be Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin. Hope you enjoy:) Jack's Mannequin - Dark Blue

Good morning!
Good morning!
Hope everyone had a good night sleep, or is still sleeping or are about to go to sleep.
I've just had my bowl of cereal and I'm ready to start a new day. Going to school in a few hours, so I'll write more then. Until then, have a nice day!

Spotify
I was wondering if there's many of you that have Spotify?
The reason for me asking is that I love music and I use Spotify every hour of the day to play music. And I would like to start share music here in this blog once a day, maybe like a top-week list or something strange like that. I will set up a link which will re-direct you to the song on Spotify, I will of course name the artist and song in my post. I will start right now!
One song that I have been listening to a lot these past few days is Steve Vai - Still My Bleeding Heart. Wonderful song, instruments are great and so is the vocal on the song. Link will follow. Enjoy!:)Steve Vai - Still My Bleeding Heart

Welcome
Hello future readers and welcome to my more personal blog.
I have decided to write more about my days and what i am doing, more like a log of some sort on this blog. I have another blog, Earths green forces, which is a blog about our environment. Not the most popular subject to write about, but it interests me.
Well, the autumn is definitely here, I'm sitting at my desk looking out my window at batman-rain and superman-winds, he-he! Sitting inside right now listening to music and studying math is great, I wouldn't want to be outside right now:)
I am listening to Avril Lavigne's new singles from her new album, he-he I know that's kinda strange for me, but I just love those songs, she is a great singer. I am a rocker and listen a lot to metal and progressive music, but even I have my guilty pleasures! I may uncover some of them during my time writing in this blog.
Later today I'm gonna work a little bit on a new song I've been trying to write, fun to play guitar:) Before that I'm going to the gym. My body is my temple and so on!
The picture uploaded to this post is the view from my window.
See you all later!
